On the trail

Had a lovely day walking The Dudley Trail today. The kids did the 9 mile walk with a couple of their school friends and their mum and splendid time was had all around . It was a fair old trek, taking in the canals, fens and pools of the local area and whilst my legs have pretty much turned to mush right now, they did ok on the way round. :)

I've put up a couple of extra pics from the walk, including a colour version of this one, but also of a beautiful swan we encountered, nesting not more than a foot or two from the canal path. Amazing sight, and very nearly the blip for today, but ultimately the honour went to the intrepid trekkers.

I won't need much rocking tonight :)
