Daffodil

Some time ago I'd bought some Daffodil bulbs. I thought they would not do much this year because I'd left planting them quite late but they eventually did start to grow and today the first of several flower buds has finally opened.

Tomorrow a colleague will be bringing over some more shopping for me after work. It will be nice to have another visitor again than just the nurses who come each day to change the bandage on my foot.
