Egyptian Geese

Backblip

On the way home after work, I stopped at the Great Crested Grebes nest closest to the apartment again and spotted this pair of new visitors to the area. I think I identified them correctly as being Egyptian Geese.

I found choosing just one from today's photos for my entry very difficult and have posted the others as extras. One is of the 5 birds that I managed to capture in the same shot. At the top there's a Heron and at his feet are an adult Coot with its chick and the pair of Great Crested Grebes, one of which is partially hidden by the vegetation. The other two photos are of the Great Crested Grebes and their babies.

Many thanks for all the comments, stars and heart on yesterday's Great Crested Grebes blip.
