A hungry mouth to feed

Walking home from the bus stop after work, I only briefly stopped at the Great Crested Grebes nest closest to the apartment to see if I could spot something to blip. Neither the Egyptian Geese, nor the Heron were there and this time the Great Crested Grebe chicks stayed well hidden among its parents feathers but fortunately I managed to capture this Coot feeding its hungry baby.

My morning shift has been a very long and exhausting one but I now have the luxury of several days off until I have to work again on Monday.
