Roots

This is the path to the little church where my Mother's parents are laid to rest.

Today we made the annual visit with my mum. The graves and grounds are kept beautifully and the church is delightful.

Just opposite is the house Mum lived in as a child, now run as a country hotel. We went to look at the outside and met the son of the owners who was delighted to show us round.

Mum related the story of how she threw some honey based medicine out of her bedroom window onto the roof and how all the bees in the area swarmed and then became rather drowsy!
