Anenome blanda

Now staying in Peebles in the Scottish Border region. A very attractive small town on the River Tweed. Also home to the John Buchan Museum ( He of Thirtynine Steps) and of a much admired Blipper who has just completed five years without missing a day.

The weather being good we took two friends of long standing to one of our favourite places - The Royal Edinburgh Botanic Gardens. A Mecca for plant lovers and a place we have visited many times. Now even better with the addition of a good restaurant at the West Gate.

There were many photographs but in the end I chose an old favourite, Anenome blanda. Easyto grow butwell worth the effort.
