A grey, drizzly day but enjoyable nevertheless.

Spent the morning helping our 96 year old friend to get more out of his iPad. He downloaded the complete novels of Robert Louis Stevenson and learnt how to buy books from iBooks or Amazon. Then to music. He still plays his Grand Piano but now knows how to choose any classical works on You Tube and transmit them with Bluetooth to the excellent Bose speaker which he has bought. Finally he has discovered Internet Radio and the many classical stations which he can get via Tunein Radio. All these with several other tips like how to save screen shots, will give him lots of fun.

After going out for a farewell lunch the Knottmans retreated to their hotel. Knottman then had the challenge of finding a blip in the Drizzle. The Tweed bridge and kirk are not too bad and give us good memories of this delightful ancient borders town.
