Jewelled Tulip

Tulips are very photogenic. But they're even more photogenic after rain. So I found it hard to leave the formal Italian gardens at Trentham this morning as the current display is fantastic.

The rest of the day went downhill. My other half's football team, Preston North End didn't make it to automatic promotion, into the league above, so he wasn't too happy this evening. Another round of play-offs to suffer.
