Fields of gold

Dandelions are so common and taken for granted that it's sometimes difficult to appreciate the amazing sight of a field full of them. If this was a rare species, a field like this would be a magnet for nature twitchers and photographers. I would go further - if Van Gogh had painted in England, this could well have been the subject of a world-famous picture.
