Tuftie flotilla

We paid our first visit today to Potteric Carr, a Yorkshire Wildlife Trust reserve near Doncaster.
We were rewarded with sightings of several types of butterfly: Peacock, Large and Small White, Orange Tip and Brimstone Yellow, all of which failed miserably to pose for photos.
There were also lots of birds including a Shoveler, a Moorhen pair with several chicks, a Great Crested Grebe, a Pochard, a number of Tufted Ducks, and a Marsh Harrier. All the usual suspects were also present.
It was hopefully the first of many visits.
