Tulip

I'm spending a few days in Wales with my 84 year old Mum. Today we had a lovely day out with my brother and two nieces, at Bodnant Gardens in the Conwy Valley. Neither my Mum nor I have ever been at this time of year but it was a riot of colour with tulips, azaleas, rhododendrons, magnolias and camellias among the most spectacular specimens. We were also able to see an area only recently opened to the public, right at the end of the Dell. I am spoiled for choice for a blip, but eventually decided on this delicately veined and coloured tulip. I think the variety is "Spring Green". There were also some black tulips which came a close second.
