Rehearsal

It has been good to have 24 hours to settle in the hotel before the wedding festivities begin. This morning we took a long walk along the Hudson River with our friends who came in from Kentucky for the wedding.

The wedding is taking place in Rockland County which is just north of New York City across the Hudson River from Westchester County. There are beautiful parks and trails in Rockland. This particular trail is at the Nyack Beach State Park and is most scenic.

The rehearsal dinner tonight was enjoyed by all. The slide show was a lovely combination of the bride and groom's childhood pictures. There were many speeches by the members of the wedding party and lots of roasting and laughs.
