The Estuary Mouth

Strong winds and rain were forecast for today, luckily neither arrived until after lunchtime.

We went down to Shaldon this morning for a stroll and cup of coffee in the Clipper.

After lunch we drove to Dawlish so I could buy some new Crocs and Ann some sunglasses, though it was lashing with rain and howling gale by then. We holed up at Colin's, making use of his coffee maker and laptop, until he returned from Exeter. Then we all went back to the Clipper in Shaldon for an evening meal. I had a seafood stew which included two very large prawns, I know now why they supplied a finger bowl as well!
