More beasts

They may be plastic, but dinosaurs did actually exist, as opposed to those beasts of myth and legend. These plastic ones are in Mr Wood's Fossils shop at the east end of the Grassmarket. Stan Wood worked at the Huntarian Museum in Glasgow and had the amazing ability to find fossils. He had no formal background in geology, but knew where to look. He set up the shop in 1987 and then sold it in 2006 but it still keeps his name. He died in September 2012.
