ON A ROLL

Let's go birding. So we did, and an excellent day all round. A Roller (bird not car) at Aldbrough near Hull, then a Red-crested Pochard at Hornsea Mere. But these cuties are my blip, mainly because the Roller pics were rather distant. Shame as it was the first time I've ever seen one, and the first time I have seen such a blue bird, other than a Kingfisher, though this was much bigger. Oh, and then there was the Marsh Warbler at Blacktoft Sands but I missed the Hares, darn it, which G said were right outside a hide and would have been brilliant photos.

And I took so many photos during the day that I could not have sifted through them last night, so back-blip it is.
