Trellech Bluebell Woods Walk

I was out by 8.15am to collect a parcel from Yodel who couldn't be bothered to leave it with a neighbour yesterday. It's a dog crate which we wanted to use later. The dogs we walk get so excited that the young one was trying to get in the front with us. A bit dangerous when I'm driving! I collected and assembled it before my 10am dental appointment in Cardiff.

After picking the dogs up, the pup was a bit shell shocked to be stopped in her tracks with the new dog cage. The older one was more accepting and just curled up as normal.

We went on this Trellech walk almost a month ago and the bluebells were non existent. In previous years it's been amazing, so that was our reason for returning today. The blip photo shows one of the woods (not far from Trellech Furnace) plastered in bluebells. The dogs were loving it.

The extra photo is a close up of some bluebells.

On the way home, we stopped off in Monmouth for a cuppa. We were sat  in the rear garden near the exit, no one near us, and the dogs were quiet under the table, when the manager told us dogs were not allowed and moved us outside - which was just a few feet from where we were sat!  Costa seem happy to have us - so it'll be there next time!
