Clickychick and Goslings.

The day started off windy and wet but by lunch times things were beginning to improve.  CC suggested some retail therapy down at Lakeland in Windermere which seemed a good use of the time so off we went.

As always the shop was full of gadgets which you could easily persuade yourself you needed!  A cup cake maker!  We have one already its called an oven.  I don't know what size kitchen some people must have to fit in all the gadgets.  Having said that we got a couple of things for the lodge.

On the way back to the caravan we saw something running up the middle of the road.  I thought birds they will take off soon.  I was right birds but they would be a long time until they took off.  It was the little fellows above which I have tentatively identified as Canada Geese.  The road has wall both sides so they were unable to get off the road.  A hilarious couple of minutes followed while we tried to catch them.  Then we placed them off the road on the lake side of the road.  Going by the noise they were making Mum would have no problem finding them again.
