We had debated as to whether to stay another day in the 1000 Islands, and finally decided to leave there and head to a place we haven't been to in about 12 years, Skytop Lodge in the Poconos in Pennsylvania. Skytop puts us about halfway home. We will spend two nights here and then go home a day early.

I am really looking forward to putting the suitcases away for a while. I have grown weary of traveling, as this is the 18th place I have stayed since the end of January.

Skytop sits on a hill overlooking a lovely lake. I took a walk around the lake this afternoon while my husband ran around it twice. This is my first chipmunk blip. I have had trouble capturing them at home. This little guy sat still for quite a while and made it easy.
