Sheila and Alison are the women sitting outside, ticking off names in the afternoon sunshine. Alison is also the green folk singer I saw performing at my local pub a few weeks back. Sheila doesn't seem to be wearing her party rosette. Maybe she's changed sides...

It was a quiet voting session. One man came in while I was there. I purposely picked what I thought might be a busy time, around 5pm. Now my sister and I are watching the results (none in yet) somewhat despondently because of the exit polls. Steve has gone off to the count, with a heavy heart.
