Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2014

59 portraits on display at the Millennium Gallery in Sheffield.  Well worth a visit if you are in Sheffield during the next month.  Portraiture in a wide variety of guises is on display here and I love the winning portrait - the lighting makes it feel like a contemporary `old master'.

We had lunch out as well as our trip to the gallery this afternoon - finishing off at Hangingwater Studio to set out our tables ready for the last weekend of Sheffield Open-Up.

p.s I've been a rubbish slipper for the last few days, though I have photographs for most days I've missed but not yesterday -  I hope to catch up with myself and also your journals before too long.
