First damselfly

Went to usual body pump class while husband had another go on the exercise bikes. We both left the gym hot and sweaty so if must have done us both some good. 

Did some sorting out in the garden and prepared the border for some new plants. The lavender and other bee and butterfly friendly plants that I put in a few years ago (border) have all died off and it is time to renew them. 

It was lovely to see the first couple of red damselflies around the pond. This one was having a wash and brush up and trying to remove the white stuff from its head. 

Looking forward to another day off tomorrow.
