Tulipa betalinii

An easy blip this morning. Began my walk this morning by dropping off some photographic magazines at the house of a friend who is a far, far better photographer than I will ever be. There in his front garden were these tulips. Of course they will open in the sun but in fact I find their closed shape very attractive,

On the way home I found that the early purple orchids on the Knott were in flower. They will be blipped in the next few days I think.
