Kotor Reflection

April 21

We got up very early and ate a quick breakfast. We took off on the busses for a trip up a zigzag road above Kotor to the ancient city of Cetinje in the mountains. We visited a museum based in the palace of the royal family of the area. There were portraits of the family members, lovely furniture and an elegant home. Afterwards we had a brief free time and then drove a less steep route back to the boat.

We ate a quick lunch and then headed to a city along the Kotor coast to take a boat to the Lady of the Rock chappel on a rock island. Arvin took a fall as he got off the boat. We toured the chappel and museum which were both filled with gifts of thanks for the Virgin Mary's protection. The day was gorgeous and the air clean and fresh. We returned to the boat and spent the afternoon ministering to Arvin's scrapes and bumps while the ship took off for Dubrovnik. When we arrived I joined a group for an evening walk in Dubrovnik while Arvin stayed on the boat.
