Teleportation

I spent this morning and early afternoon watching the 5 borough bike tour passing our house and packing to move to Millbrook again. Luckily there was some time left to enjoy the sun and venture out to the lower east side and Chinatown. I felt transported 10000 miles and 8 years in time: when I entered Columbus park, I was back on my two month China travel in 2007. I fell in love with China then and it is a love that never died. I hope I will ever make it back there, but luckily Chinatown is never far. We continued with a lovely dinner at a noodle shop, topped off with black sesame ice cream at the Chinatown ice cream factory mmmm
