Everything has to start somewhere!

Went to Ardkinglas garden today for a meeting of the 'Glorious Gardens of Argyll & Bute', our local marketing group. One reason for the meeting was to gather plants together to build a garden at Gardening Scotland in two weeks' time, a job which has fallen to me. 

This is most of what we've been loaned - it doesn't look very much, I have to say, but I have to make a garden out of it!

It reminds me of that old cookery program where the chef had to make a meal for six people out of three peanuts, a pint of custard, a packet of fig rolls, some chinese cabbage and a chocolate orange.
