Split

We walked our tails off today. We started with a walking tour with a guide through the old part of Split. Then we had some time to ourselves before lunch.

After lunch we joined Noel and Meridith in search of the Ivan Mestrovic Gallery. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivan_Me%C5%A1trovi%C4%87_Gallery We walked and walked, asking for directions as we went. Each time the information we got was correct but optimistic in terms of distance. It was a very long walk but worth it. We really liked his work and the gallery. We took a taxi back to the boat as all four of us had our fill of walking.

In the evening we had our farewell dinner with the captain and crew of the ship. Both Arvin and I really liked the ship and all the crew. They took good care of us and were really friendly. And the captain did all he could to stay clear of weather that would cause the ship to be on choppy seas.
