Plitvice Lakes

Today we drove from Split to Zagreb with a couple of stops in between. Our first stop was a rest stop at a park where we got a panoramic view of a bridge and river and were able to purchase some food for dinner when we got to Zagreb.

The second stop was at the Plitvice Lakes. http://www.np-plitvicka-jezera.hr/en/ Here we all took a walk above the lakes and falls. The braver members of the party headed down to walk along the boardwalks near the falls. Arvin and I didn't do that. Our guides were concerned about our safety. Arvin did not want to do all that walking and I was feeling really sick. But we did get to see the falls from above. Quite a fantastic sight.

We continued on to Zagreb and settled in our hotel room. Arvin ate the food we bought but I was not hungry. We went to bed at eight and slept through to our morning alarm. I felt a bit better but still sick.
