Meeting Booky in Zagreb

Finally I have enough Internet to post a blip. On the ship it just wasn't posible. This is our first full day in Zagreb. We had a walking tour of the old city and then were on our own for the rest of the day. We really enjoyed the Museum of Naive Art.

Arvin and I wandered a bit and stopped at a cafe on Tesla Street for a coffee and a beer (mine and his) and a quiet sit. Then we headed back to the hotel to take a nap.

Unfortunately I've come down with the crud, mostly in the form of lots of coughing and feeling very low energy. Yesterday we drove from Split to Zagreb and I felt quite awful much of the day. When we got to the hotel, I didn't even want to eat. Arv had a sandwich we had purchased on the way and we both fell into bed at 8 o'clock. We slept until 7 am. I guess we needed it.

After our nap we met up with Booky Goatherd. https://www.blipfoto.com/Booky How delightful that was. She drove us to the very interesting cemetary outside of town and then we went to her apartment where we met K and their two cats, Fred and Max. Arvin and I were in need of a cat fix so we spent quite a bit of time cuddling with the boys. They are gorgeous and sweet kitties.

We had lovely conversation with K and Booky and then headed off back to Tessla Street for dinner at an Italian restaurant and more good conversation. What a wonderful way to spend an evening.

I added a photo of Arvin bonding with Fred, the large orange and white boy, brother to Max who you can see on tomorrow's entry. Also added other extra photos of Zagreb.
