A clash of cultures

Poor Megan has had her head totally shaved as the Chinese believe it will make the hair grow back stronger. They also believe it is necessary to remove the hair the baby was born with as it may contain all sorts of nasties from its time in the womb. Makes you wonder what they plan to do about her skin which was also there, possibly for longer. A chemical peel perhaps?

Believe it or not, the barber was arranged by the hospital. It is part of the post natal program for the baby! Looking on the bright side, she seems to have slept through the whole thing so it clearly wasn't traumatic, she looks as beautiful as ever and even more like me which has to be a bonus :-)
