"...birds do it..."

There was quite a show in the trees just beyond the patio this morning. Mating Baltimore Orioles and an elusive Scarlet Tanager. I have not seen one in years. This is about the only time they are visible, high in the treetops before the leafy tree canopy fully fills in. I'm thrilled that I had my camera ready and waiting, I was watching the hummingbird when I noticed a red flash high in the trees. What a gorgeous red bird.
