Day at a Time

Treshnish

Another wonderful day with warm sunshine from very early on.  Set off to the north west of the island, past Calgary Bay to Treshnish Farm.  Lovely  to meet Blipper Treshnish who showed us the circular walk of approx. 3 hours round Treshnish Point. Such excellent contrasting scenery.  This is the view from up on the raised beach towards the Treshnish Islands.  You can see the little stony bay where boats would have been pulled up many years ago.

Found an unexpected treat at Loch Na Keal - what looked like a regular burger van was selling the most wonderful fresh local produce.  My langoustines couldn't have been fresher.   Or better.  Go if you're ever here and eat crab, lobster, mussels all caught this morning.

Back to Tobermory and getting ready for more fresh fish tonight.  The sun is splitting the sky and we're all having a great time.
