Dusting dissertation

My years of research have led me to the following conclusion:

These findings are based on an average to large household of 2 adults, 3 children (2 of which are large teenagers), a big hairy dog, lots of laundry and lots of running up and down stairs

1. A little bit of dusting looks worse than no dusting at all.
2. A lot bit of dusting looks like slavery.
3. Not dusting might be understood as this person a) has a busy life, or b) suffers from laziness, or c) is someone who has plenty of other things they'd rather be doing.

4. If one dusts regularly people may or may not notice or care and you will get very little sympathy.

5. If one hardly ever dusts people may or may not notice or care and you will get very little sympathy.

6. Worrying that visitors may choose option b) after seeing your house is unhealthy - particularly for them because it reveals they have problems with judgmentalism and must be pitied.

Must go - my sister and her family have just turned up and I haven't finished dusting...

AND I'M NOT GOING TO! HA
