A Day Worth Recording

Hunter-Gatherers

Some time back, probably when feeling click-happy, we signed up for the Hereford & Worcester Chamber of Commerce Chamber of Secrets Treasure Hunt 2015. (Pause for breath).

The result of which was that around 200 people in 24 teams gathered in Worcester guildhall this wet afternoon with a variety of puzzles to crack and things to find.  I'm sure Mr Google wasn't supposed to be used but I've never seen so many phones in operation in one room (and given my previous career that's quite a statement).

Clearly, I'd misjudged the level of challenge as, when I was happily, if slowly, cracking the first coded clue, someone discovered there was another sheet in the pack that was essentially the answers.

Anyway, despite the rain, which was, thankfully, light, we had an entertaining time wandering the streets of Worcester which was all very new to us. The only downside was frustration of all 24 teams getting 'stuck' when in the cathedral because we'd all arrived long before the guy who held the next clue.

The picture?  "Who's at No.95?"
