I caught up with the wide Wednesday challenge, this week hosted by Chantler63. The theme was odd, but my poor old brain was blank.

Anyway at lunchtime I took advantage of the glorious weather and headed to the green space opposite the office. The grass was more white then green due to the numerous daisies and took a low, wide shot - at least the wide angled part of the challenge was met!

I then recalled reading that daisies had an odd number of petals. A further Google search gave the information that daisies, as with many plants in nature, conformed to the Fibonacci sequence of numbers, where each number is the sum of the 2 preceding numbers in the sequence: 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34.... Daisies typically have 21 petals - a nice odd number - Challenge complete!
