Spurn Point to Whitby

Today was one of those days that answers Larkin's question: days are for days like today.

After the dinge of Lincolnshire and the cold of yesterday, Yorkshire today was hot and sunny - properly hot. I walked along the beach at Spurn Point barefoot, feeling real hot sand between my toes. Wasn't expecting that for another couple of thousand miles. The dogs and I walked for nearly two hours which set me back a bit but I didn't care. By the end I felt more relaxed than I have in years.
