Purple Sunbird(female)

No Purple or blue metallic plumage on a female Sunbird, just some yellow but mostly Browns and beige! Not very fair, but still a pretty little bird with a very curved beak. These birds love our Desert Roses and feeding very much like a humming bird, which is what I originally thought these birds where. The males spend most of their days at the moment singing and defending their territory while their partners feed and hide away in the middle of the tree.
