Royal Deeside Station Cook Bacon On The Move .

We left Banchory today to make our way back to Manchester . However a stop at Milton Of Crathes Station was a must .
This is a line axed by Beeching years ago. I was thrilled to find that through the passion of train lovers , voluntary work and help from the lottery, many wonderful old engines are running .We took a ride and were served high tea .Style and flair were paramount .On our return to the station I was thrilled to see the driver and fireman making their bacon sarnies in true fashion .On a shovel and in the fire of the engine. The aroma was wonderful . It has to be my blip of the day .I love trains , bacon sarnies and doing things the right way .check them out at :-
