Caim prayer

We learned about - and practised - today the Celtic tradition of Caim praying.

As the prayer is read out you are meant to circle round with one or two arms outstretched listening to the words. In the confines of the pews it was a bit restrictive so many moved into the aisles. Sometimes Caim prayer with smaller groups means everyone forms a circle.

All part of learning about different ways of praying, including just listening to your breathing.

I wondered if we increased the pace hugely we would turn into whirling dervishes! But not today.
