Beam

A very wet morning led eventually to a sunny afternoon but by the time I was home to get Bailey his tea and a quick walk around the block, the sky had turned threatening again. And then, as I was sat watching the Chelsea Flower Show, there was a shaft of sunlight right onto the unfurling peonies. Perfect blip material on a day that has been busy for lots of reasons but not particularly inspiring. Y11 survived their first literature exam and I survived a day with limited teaching, last minute changes to tours with prospective parents and students and the longest evening so far of parent meetings.
