Taking it easy

The first Sunday of this entire academic year on which I have not had any marking to do - so very little work required this morning. Instead, we have generally pottered with Bailey still a little exhausted from his celebrations yesterday. We started with a walk in the sunshine before I took the official Bailey-sitter for her singing lesson and spent the time in the mobbed garden centre. A few purchases made and we did eventually find our way to the tills via candles, the food hall, shoes, bird seed and solar lights. Another two walks this afternoon and the lawn mowed eventually and then Bailey has spent the evening playing with some of his new toys. One more week of term 5 left, with 2 exams for Y11 and Y12 on study leave already having done their exam on Friday.  So, potentially, a slightly quieter week. We shall see.
