Peony

Single peony today. We have had so much wind and rain that many peonies are rather battered and drooping. The flower heads get full of water and then they sag and never really stand up well again. There are still plenty of buds though, so there is hope for better blips.. I am adding one extra of a rose.

Yesterday's graduation was lots of fun. In a small town, everyone and his brother turns out for these events and the place was packed. I am sure the girls slept in late this morning after a party that was just starting at 9 pm. Their poor mother, however, had to be at school teaching today. The rest of the school is still in session!
