What if?

Showy evening primrose

Oenothera speciosa. Many people would call this just a weed. It grows on the roadside and in any waste place, on next to no soil, but the flowers are very attractive and delicate if you take the trouble to,look closely. The flowers open in the evening and remain open in the morning, gradually fading to a pinkish color and finally dying off in the heat of the day (not that we have had any heat today!).

It is late for me to be blipping. This morning we went to Verizon to get B's phone fixed and were offered a tablet (not a Scottish tablet!) for $30 which we bought. It will come in for someone. Then I went to I's to help him with his speech exercises and later we had Oliver's 4th birthday to attend. For us, this was a busy day! Hence a late blip.

So happy you enjoyed the peony so much. We still have lots more!
