Exmouth Arms

We did have a plan for this morning and that was to have a bit of a walk, maybe four or five miles, around London, finishing up at Euston to catch the train back north.

Matters were complicated, though, by a bit of rain. It wasn't actually pouring but if we'd stayed out in it for any length of time, we'd have been soaked. So in the end, rather than just having breakfast at the pub we'd rather liked the look of the last time we were down, we spent the morning there, with our books, some breakfast, and rather a lot of coffee. It was lovely.
