British common sense....

I dont know if this kind of thing happens abroad but the british/english seem particularly good at it. This sign from a little bus shelter, up by Saddleworth, is quite famous as an example of official ineptitude.

... A few years ago a brand new bus shelter was put up in a little village
... It was finished on a friday
... On Monday they announced the bus service was cancelled
... Forever
... A bus has never stopped there
... It is lit every night
... Its kept in perfect condition
... The official reason?
... "In case we need it in future"!

God help us, these people have the vote...
