After a few days of really grey starts i had to be in Liverpool today at some unholy hour!

When i left home in t'pennine foothills it was snowing, but when i got to Liverpool i was early enough to pull over by the riverside and catch a stunner of a sunrise...

... although i suspect the rich colours of morn in those parts may have something to do with the refinery you can see in the distance...
