A crowning moment

Today was a Jubilicious affair at the West Norwood Feast. The bunting was out, a scrumptious Union Jack cake was made, crowns were worn, treasure was hunted, coronation memories were shared, badges were made, a teapot piñata released tons of sweets around excited kids, and John dressed up as the Queen since no one else volunteered. She was splendid, though! Caroline made this Corgi game for Retro Village and it went down a treat.

The weather wasn't brilliant, but we were lucky that it didn't pour down until packing down time. Phew! A fab time was had by all.

Fred and his Dad tried to get to see the flotilla on the Thames, but they had to turn back - the river was impossible to see for the crowds. This meant they could have lunch at the Feast with me, though. Heath made some lovely Jubilee paper chains for the Retro Village.
