Harden Moss

This is my entry for the Wednesday Wide Angle Challenge;  our theme this week is  "Barriers"

I found my barrier up on Harden Moss where many sheep are grazed, and I suppose this barrier is there simply to stop them from straying onto the road.  The barrier is at the start of a track which leads up and across fields which then rapidly turn into moors, and the track itself eventually disappears at the horizon.

Harden Moss is well known locally for it's historic annual Sheepdog Trials,   - the 103rd held in June last year.  In any one year the trials can see more than 100 shepherds and over 200 dogs gathering to show off their skills.

Many thanks to Chantler63 for hosting.
