Learning to pounce

I watched one of the fox cubs prowl around the garden late this afternoon. It pounced and completely missed the mini pigeon flock, then it sat under the tea cup bird feeder, peering up at the blue tits and dunnocks. They're safe from this one – its skills are not yet honed.
