Grandad Worth's RAF Logbook

Down in a pleasantly sunny London today for morning meetings at Canary Wharf before a deliciously idle (non work) afternoon spent at Imperial War Museum.

I had hoped to upload a photo of my Grandad (Flight Lieutenant) Worth in uniform alongside his completed WW2 RAF flight logbook today as checked it out in the IWM Research Rooms. However, even though I had donated his logbook years ago and booked the archive visit, no photographs were allowed without prior written approval.

Oh well it's all now re-booted in the harddrive of my memory bank at least until the next time. So in the meantime here's a shot towards the atrium.

Though not a glamorous Battle of Britain Spitfire pilot Grandad was actually a navigator on the pretty cool Short Sunderland Flying Boats.

Anyway all that now remains is to kill dome time with quick pint in the lovely Bree Louise pub near Euston with Grand Nephew Thaim then it's the train home.
