Miniature lilac

Like everything else this year, this miniature lilac has flowered profusely. It has a very strong prefume which hits you from yards away. Self seeded forgetmenots fill the ground below.

Today I should have been busy getting ready for our holiday, but I spent a long time processing photos from yesterday's event and sending them around. Then this afternoon we went to a funeral, the second within a week. I shall just have to get very organised in the morning! We are going to stay in a cottage on a farm with our family, the first time we have tried this.
